A Marion County woman, 30-year-old Stevi Rene Disney of Yellville, has been sentenced to three years supervised probation on a felony drug offense. The sentence came last week in Marion County Circuit Court before Judge Gordon Webb.
According to the probable cause affidavit, in August 2017 Disney and her ex-husband were at the Marion County Sheriff’s Office. Disney had allegedly taken her ex-husband’s vehicle without permission.
When the Marion County Sheriff’s officer arrived, the couple was with an Arkansas Game and Fish Commission officer. The Game and Fish officer advised the Marion County sergeant Disney’s ex-husband had told her to give law enforcement a small black baggie.
The Marion County officer took the bag, looked inside and saw two small blue pills, four light green pills, and one small light blue pill. The pills were suspected as morphine Schedule 2, alprazolam, Schedule 4 and clonazepam, Schedule 4.
Disney told law enforcement the pills did not belong to her. She said she had forgotten to return them to her friend.
She was charged with one felony drug offense, as well as a misdemeanor.
Under the terms of the plea agreement, Disney received three years of supervised probation, along with fines and court costs of $2,700.
