Jerritt Clark/Getty Images for Wonder ProductionsIt’s not quite a residency, but it’s the closest he’s come so far. Stevie Wonder will play a series of shows in the Park Theater at the Park MGM Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas this August.
Titled The Stevie Wonder Song Party: A Celebration of Life, Love & Music, and the five-show limited engagement will run August 3, 4, 8, 10 and 11. They’ll be the first performances Wonder’s given in Las Vegas since a September, 2015 appearance at the Life is Beautiful Festival.
Tickets for The Stevie Wonder Song Party: A Celebration of Life, Love & Music go on sale May 21 at 10:00 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster, and start at $69. Presales for American Express Card Members begin May 16, with M Life Rewards, Ticketmaster and Live Nation member presales happening May 20.
