A longtime local baseball coach has decided to step away from the dugout. Cotter High School head coach Marty Hall has announced his retirement from his coaching duties.

Hall has led the baseball program during his entire 21-year career at Cotter. He also spent two years as the girls’ basketball coach and another two years leading the boys’ team.

Hall says one thing he looks back on with pride is seeing the maturity of the kids he coached into their adult lives.
