A bid for improvements to four city streets in Mountain Home has been approved by the Arkansas State Highway Commission.
Arkansas Department of Transportation officials say the project will involve resurfacing 1.6 miles of selected sections of Hospital Drive, Beard Drive, Bucher Drive and Burnett Drive.
Twin Lakes Quarry, Inc. of Mountain Home was awarded the contract at $192,725.
Construction is scheduled to begin in two to four weeks, weather permitting. Completion is expected in mid year.
