A Bull Shoals man, 33-year-old Andrew Fassett, is facing 10 charges following a violent domestic incident Monday at a residence along Marion County Road 7016.

According to the affidavit filed Thursday, as a Marion County Sheriff’s deputy was responding to the incident, he was advised by dispatch to be on the lookout for a vehicle reported stolen from the scene.

At the scene, the victim told law enforcement Fassett had taken her car and cell phone, then returned to her residence, violently entering her bedroom where he shoved his fingers down her throat to the point she could not breath. She said she fought off the Bull Shoals man, and when he left, she locked and chained the door, grabbed her minor son and locked the bedroom door.

Fassett reportedly returned, broke the chain off the door, entered the residence, held the victim’s hands down in front of her son as she tried to fight him off. Again, he tried to shove his fingers down her throat repeatedly and threatened to kill her before leaving the residence in the victim’s car.

Believing Fassett was en route to a friend’s house in Bull Shoals, officers responded to a residence along River Cliff Drive where the victim’s vehicle was located. The officers found Fassett passed out inside the vehicle.

A small plastic bag with a green leafy substance was found on Fassett’s person during a pat-down.

Fassett has been charged with felony counts of endangering the welfare of a minor, aggravated assault, and terroristic threatening, along with seven misdemeanor offenses.

His bond was set at $20,000.
