A Cotter man, 35-year-old Dustin Blair, is being held on a felony charge of aggravated assault on a family or household member following a domestic dispute when he allegedly pulled a handgun and threatened to kill three family members.According to the probable cause affidavit, the incident occurred Thursday when Blair, who reportedly appeared intoxicated and under the influence of drugs, began arguing with his brother and threatened to kill him.
Blair then allegedly pulled out a .25 caliber automatic handgun and while pointing the weapon at his father told him he was going to kill him.
The father wrestled the gun from Blair, and his son ran through the back yard of the residence before law enforcement arrived.
About four hours later, Blair returned to the residence, was taken into custody, and transported to the Baxter County Detention Center.
His bond was set at $100,000, and he is set to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court in June.
