
The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball teams first road test of the season was successful as they swept a doubleheader over Harrison Friday at Jack Williams Field.
The Lockeroom needed an extra inning in the first game, but they were able to get past Harrison 5-0. Gage McClain went the distance on the mound as he struck out ten batters. The game was scoreless until the eighth inning when Caleb Johnson drove in the first two runs, and Luke Dibble lated had a three-run double.
Mountain Home dominated the second game with a 16-2 victory over Harrison. Dalton Roork took the victory as he recorded eight strikeouts. Johnson led the Lockeroom offense with five RBIs.
Mountain Home will play Harrison again Sunday at Lester White Field at Cooper Park.
