
Saturday night’s storm activity resulted in wind damage and reports of hail in north central Arkansas.
According to the National Weather Service, two areas in Marion County had damage from strong winds. Several boat docks were reportedly turned over on Bull Shoals Lake in an area two miles northeast of Bull Shoals. In addition, a tree was blown down across a power line on Arkansas Highway 14 nearly two miles northwest of Maumee.
Some of the area’s biggest reports of hail came from Boone and Newton Counties. The National Weather Service says golf-ball size hail was reported in Harrison and near Marble Falls. Mount Judea had reports of quarter-size hail with pea and marble-size hail mixed in.

A listener contacted KTLO, Classic Hits & The Boot news with information about additional damage at Howard Creek Road in Midway. According to Lynda Ohm Roscoe, extensive damage occured to her 12 ship dock, including the dock overturning and a boat landing upside down with the boat lift on top of it.
