
The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team had mixed results Saturday as they competed in a doubleheader at Searcy.
The Lockeroom fell in the first game by a final of 4-1. Mountain Home took a 1-0 lead into the bottom of the sixth inning when Searcy exploded for four runs.
Dylan Reynolds had the game-winning base hit in the second game as the Lockeroom edged out Searcy 6-5. Brady Smith picked up the victory on the mound.
Mountain Home improves to 9-2 on the season, and they’ll return to Cooper Park Sunday for an evening doubleheader with Batesville. The first game on Lester White Field begins at 5 p.m.
