A man from Yellville was injured in a four-vehicle crash south of Kansas City Monday afternoon. The Missouri Highway Patrol says 62-year-old Kenneth Gilley was taken to Belton Regional Hospital for treatment of minor injuries.
The report indicates traffic was slowing for an emergency vehicle that was turning into an emergency vehicle turnaround on the interstate. Gilley was driving a tractor trailer and struck the rear of a vehicle which caused it to strike a third vehicle which in turn struck a fourth vehicle.
No other injuries were reported in the accident which occurred on I-49 near Belton.
