Bull Shoals-White River State Park will have several activities for the Father’s Day period. Trout Days Weekend is scheduled for Saturday and Sunday culminating with a fishing tournament.
A variety of activities and programs will be presented about the White River and trout fishing. Activities include lake and river cruises, trout cooking demonstrations and several interpretive programs. Fees apply to the cruises, but all other programs are free.
The Father’s Day Fishing Tournament will be the finale of the weekend on Sunday morning at the park’s trout dock. Registration will begin at 8:30, and the fishing time will be from 9:00 to 11:30. No entry fee is required. Teams will consist of any adult with children, and prizes for different categories will be awarded at the close of the tournament. All fishing regulations will apply.
