The sounds of RIO return to the Friday Night Block Party Stage this week.
Music and activities will begin at 7:00 Friday night on the courthouse square in Mountain Home. The event is free to the public and all are welcome.
RIO is an acoustic variety trio featuring Mark and Robin Hargrove and Art Kershaw. Their repertoire includes classics from such performers as Peter, Paul and Mary, James Taylor, Fleetwood Mac, Bonnie Raitt, Stray Cats and Alison Krauss.
Holy Smokes BBQ will be on hand selling barbecue, and the Baxter County Historical Society will be selling ice cream sundaes. Funnel cakes, kettle corn and lemonade will also be available for purchase from concession vendors, and attendees will have a chance to win door prizes during the bands intermission. This week’s Friday Night Block Party sponsor is Elmcroft of Mountain Home.
