The Mountain Home All Stars eight-year-old Cal Ripken baseball team was able to hang on in its last Saturday game of the North District Tournament and advance to the final day of competition. It was a high-scoring game in Springdale with the All Stars edging out the Harrison A’s 12-11. The Mountain Home All Stars will play an elimination game against Springdale Sunday morning at 10:00, and the winner faces the Mountain Home Naturals for the district title at 11:45.
