A traffic stop in Flippin has led to the arrest of a Mountain Home woman on multiple drug charges. Forty-year-old Heather Kisor was booked into the Marion County Detention Center on a felony count of possession of a controlled substance, three misdemeanor counts of possession of a controlled substance, two misdemeanor counts of possession of drug paraphernalia and traffic offenses of failure to present proof of insurance and equipment violation. She was released Monday evening after posting a$10,000 bond.
According to an affidavit, an Arkansas State Trooper was patrolling June 10th on Old Highway 62 near a convenience store when he observed a green pickup truck with a broken windshield leave the parking lot and travel eastbound. The trooper conducted a traffic stop near another store and made contact with the driver identified as Kisor.
The trooper learned Kisor was an active probationer with a search waiver on file. Kisor reportedly granted consent to search the vehicle, and the trooper located a black digital scale with white crystal residue on it inside a black suede bag which was located inside a grey bag in the center bench seat. A black bottle labeled to be brake fluid was also located in the grey bag, and a clear baggie containing a white crystal substance was inside the bottle. The substance reportedly field-tested positive for methamphetamine. The bottle also had a clear plastic baggie containing 52 black plastic baggies and a plastic baggie containing 12 whole and 12 partial pills believed to Alprazolam.
Kisor was placed into custody, and she allegedly began resisting. The trooper assisted her to the rear of the patrol vehicle and told her to get in. When Kisor entered the vehicle, she reportedly struck the cage with the left side of her head causing a small laceration near her left eye. First responders inspected her eye, and she signed a document refusing medical treatment.
Kisor is scheduled to appear in Marion County Circuit Court Wednesday morning.
