The Mountain Home Lockeroom American Legion baseball team began the Glen Sain Tournament on a rough note Friday in Paragould. The Lockeroom stranded the bases loaded in the final inning and fell to Charleston, Missouri, 4-3.
Mountain Home struck first on a two-run home run by Caleb Johnson. Charleston took the lead after a pair of home runs. The Lockeroom scored one more run but could get no closer.
Mountain Home falls to 15-4 on the season, and they’ll play Cabot on the consolation side of the bracket Saturday afternoon at 1:00.
