MH Chamber of Commerce welcomes new staff member

The Mountain Home Area Chamber of Commerce announces Erric Totty has joined the staff as the membership and sales director.

The membership and sales director is responsible for recruiting new members, reselling dropped or canceled members, retaining and servicing existing members, and selling sponsorships and advertising.

Totty attended Pikes Peak Community College studying radio and television broadcasting. He later attended Front Range Community College before transitioning to the University of Colorado, Boulder where he completed his B.A. in Film Studies.

The Tulsa native moved to the Mountain Home area in 2005 to be closer to his family and to enjoy his love of the outdoors.

He has served the community as an AmeriCorps representative at Baxter County Juvenile Services and Community Connections for Youth and Families Inc. He received Arkansas’ highest award for his service and was promoted to volunteer coordinator to run the T.I.M.E. Mentoring Program.

Totty has served as a Baxter County Justice of the Peace, has received the Volunteer Coordinator of the Year award and was nominated for First Security Bank’s “Your Local Hero” award.

He and his wife, Lori, reside in Midway near Bull Shoals Lake. They have two sons and one daughter.

The Mountain Home Chamber of Commerce has more than 500 members.
