A Howell County man has been arrested after he allegedly set fire to the Howell County Prosecutor’s office this week. KYTV reports 37-year-old Jason Gargione faces four felony charges.
Court documents indicate Gargione broke into the Howell County Courthouse Tuesday night where he allegedly set fire to the desk in prosecutor Mike Hutchings’ office. Police say he also damaged computers and office equipment.
Gargione was arrested in May on domestic assault, possession of a controlled substance and receiving stolen property charges. He is being held on a $50,000 bond.
