Tim and Cindy Finley have been named the 2018 Izard County Farm Family. Farming at four locations, the Finleys operate an Angus-based cattle farm consisting of 130 cows and seven bulls.
Tim and Cindy have been in the farming industry for nearly 30 years. Prior to farming full-time, Tim Finley built homes in addition to farming. Cindy Finley has worked at White River Health System (WRHS) in Batesville for nearly 30 years. They started out with 41 acres and now farm on over 1,400 acres, owning 356 acres and renting the rest.
When Tim Finley isnt out on one of the farms and when Cindy Finley isnt working at WRHS, the couple can be found enjoying time with their family or serving the community. Tim Finley is currently a Farm Bureau board member, volunteer fireman at Zion VFD, Antioch Cemetery board member, member of both the Antioch Masonic Lodge and Melbourne Masonic Lodge and a member of the Arkansas Cattleman Association. Cindy Finley is also on the Zion VFD, as well as the Farm Bureau Women Committee. The Finleys are members of Sidney First Baptist Church.
