The city of Flippin is under a burn ban effective immediately. Flippin Fire Chief Glenn Chapman says the ban was issued due to extremely hot weather conditions and a lack of measurable rainfall. Chief Chapman says the burn ban will be lifted when conditions improve and an adequate amount of rainfall is received.
