
The 2018 election season returns to the headlines later this month when the filing period opens July 27th for independent candidates seeking municipal offices.
Moving closer to the general election, those not registered to vote and interested in casting a ballot in November should be in touch with their respective county clerk’s office, including a group of people who may not know they could be eligible to vote.
Baxter County and Circuit Clerk Canda Reese says it’s not often her office hears from those who have committed a crime and are seeking to have their voting rights restored.
