The Mountain Home 12-year-old Cal Ripken baseball team had mixed results Thursday to open the Southwest Regional Tournament in Florence, Alabama. The local team began the American pool by defeating Patterson, Louisiana, by a score of 16-7, but they later fell 8-0 to Biloxi, Mississippi.
