A Baxter County man, 39-year-old Waylon Myers of Mountain Home, was arrested Monday morning on felony counts of commercial burglary and theft of property. Myers’ arrest follows a burglary at a local business where items were taken, including a moped.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the burglary was reported to have occurred overnight when a building was entered by force. Some of the items taken have been recovered.
Two suspects have been developed, with law enforcement continuing to search for a second individual.
Myers’ bond has been set at $10,000, and he is set to appear in Baxter County Circuit Court later this month.
