“I’m really excited to announce that LFDH is coming back!” Hall says in a statement. “We have a new production partner with BMG, who are enthusiastic about taking this show to the next level with me. Fans have been asking me when we are returning, so I am pleased to say that we are headed into production in the fall.”
Live from Daryl’s House started as an online concert series in 2007 before airing on MTV Live until 2016. Each episode features the Hall & Oates frontman jamming at his home — or, in later episodes, his Pawling, New York, venue Daryl’s House — with a special guest, as well as candid interviews and cooking segments.
Past episodes featured such performers as Smokey Robinson, Joe Walsh, ZZ Top‘s Billy Gibbons, Todd Rundgren, Cheap Trick, The O’Jays and Kenny Loggins.
Hall’s partnership with BMG also includes worldwide rights to all 82 episodes of the series filmed from 2007 to 2016. It’s not yet clear where new episodes of the show will air. BMG currently is seeking distribution partners for the new season.
