Credit: Mads PerchAfter previously lining up four U.S. festival appearances in September, Robert Plant has expanded his upcoming tour schedule to include seven additional stateside concerts that month. The newly announced shows will take place in Kansas City, Missouri; Santa Fe, New Mexico; Tucson, Arizona; Tulsa, Oklahoma; and three Texas cities, winding down with a September 29 performance in Austin.
The Led Zeppelin singer will be accompanied at the gigs by his current band, The Sensational Space Shifters, and will continue to promote his latest solo album, Carry Fire. Tickets for all the new dates will go on sale today at 7 p.m. local time, except those for the Tucson show, which will be available starting this Friday, July 20, at 10 a.m. MT.
Plant and The Sensational Space Shifters currently are touring Europe through an August 1 concert in Dresden, Germany. They also have three U.K. shows scheduled in late October.
