
MJ Kim/MPL Communications Ltd.Paul McCartney will be heading home to Liverpool, U.K., this week to take part in a Q&A session at the Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts, the university the rock legend co-founded that’s located in the building that housed his old school. The hour-long interview event will take place this Wednesday, July 25, at 2 p.m. local time/9 a.m. ET, and will be streamed live at McCartney’s official Facebook page.
Expect Sir Paul to chat about his upcoming studio album, Egypt Station, which will be released September 7, as well as his career as a member of The Beatles and solo artist. Select fans will get the chance to watch McCartney answer their own questions by submitting their queries to Paul via Facebook.
As previously reported, McCartney will launch a new world tour dubbed the Freshen Up trek in support of Egypt Station. The outing gets underway with a run of Canadian dates beginning September 17 in Quebec City.
