License to new Town and Country grocery owners among 9 sold in July

A business license sold to the new owners of Town and Country Discount Foods was among nine issued by the city of Mountain Home in July, according to Roberta Pack from the City of Mountain Home.

Records indicate the license for Town and Country was issued to Drusilla Howard.

A license was also issued to the new owner of Freckles Chic, a retail business, located at 503 South College Street. Records indicate the license for Freckles Chic was issued to Chelsea Patterson.

Other business licenses were issued to Lefty’s, a retail business, located at 1406 Highway 62 West; Catching Fireflies Boutique, a children’s boutique and Christian store, located at 355 Highway 5 North; Little Oasis Massage, a massage business, located at 1422 Highway 62B; Misty Mountain Industries, Inc., doing business as Industrial Powder Coating, a powder coating and sand blasting business, located at 1206 South Main Street; and Thrift 4 Less, a second-hand clothing and items business, located at 151 Highway 201 North.

City records indicate one of the nine licenses was for a home-based business. That license was issued to Lyndal Stuart of Violet Hill for an electrical service and contracting business.

Records also indicate one itinerate/peddler’s license was issued to Jonas Buivydas of Harrison. The license will allow him to sell educational books and products for Southwestern Advantage.

Total licensing revenue for July was $8,575.55, including alcohol tax and licenses, occupational licenses, pet licenses, garage sales and police fees.
