
The Babe Ruth 13-Year-Old World Series continues Tuesday at McClain Park in Mountain Home with field cut from ten teams to six. Bracket play gets underway on Pitts Field, and the host team will play the first game as they meet Five Cities, California.
Mountain Home begins the bracket as the third-seeded team from the American Division. Mountain Home is 2-2 in the tournament after falling to Broomall-Newtown, Pennsylvania, on Monday. Five Cities is the number two seed from the National Division. The Pacific Southwest regional champions are 3-1 after losing to Greenville, North Carolina.
The first pitch is scheduled for 5:30. The winner gets Greater Portland, Maine, in Wednesday’s semifinals.
In Tuesday’s late session, Eagle Pass, Texas, faces Broomall-Newtown at 8:00. The victor will advance to the semifinals Wednesday to take on Greenville.
