Fugitive’s bond at $100,000, MH woman charged with hindering apprehension

A Fulton County man, 47-year-old George Jason Krumsick, is being held on a $100,000 bond following his capture in Ozark County last Thursday, and a Mountain Home woman, 45-year-old Regina Kasinger, has been charged with misdemeanor hindering apprehension. Krumsick is being held in Fulton County, while Kasinger is being held in Baxter County.

Their charges follow Krumsick being captured after a search involving officers from the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office, Arkansas Department of Correction and the Ozark County Sheriff’s Department’s community corrections special response team.

At the time of the capture, Ozark County Sheriff Darrin Reed posted on social media an early morning raid had resulted in Krumsick and an unidentified female being arrested.

Sheriff Reed noted methamphetamine and other drug-related items were confiscated in the raid. He says both individuals were expected to be charged and extradited to Arkansas.

According to a probable cause affidavit, officers with the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office and Arkansas Community Corrections conducted a home visit at Krumsick’s residence on July 23rd.

A male fled on foot from the residence but was apprehended. A second male outside the residence told officers he did not know who was in the home.

While Krumsick was not in the residence, officers discovered numerous drugs and drug paraphernalia.

Krumsick was extradited from Missouri to Fulton County and has been charged with six felony drug offenses, including possession of controlled substances crystal methamphetamine, morphine, Xanax and marijuana.
