The Mountain Home High School volleyball team opened the season with a 3-0 win Monday night at Huntsville. The Lady Bombers won by scores of 25-16, 25-16 and 25-16.
Claudia Carter and Charlie Pierce each had ten kills, Anna Grace Foreman served seven aces, Leah Jackson had 34 assists and Elaine Blackmon had 11 digs.
Mountain Home defeated Huntsville in the 8th grade match by scores of 25-18 and 25-5. Laura Wehmeyer served ten aces.
Mountain Home also won the 7th grade match 25-10 and 25-9.
