
Thursday marks the start of another season for the Mountain Home High School football team. Arkansas’s unusual Week Zero will include the Bombers playing a neutral-site game in Little Rock as they meet Sheridan.
Mountain Home is coming off a season in which they finished with a record of 1-9. It was the first year under current head coach Bryan Mattox.
Mattox says the team is looking forward to getting this season started.

Mountain Home fans planning on attending the game at War Memorial Stadium will need to park in the east parking lot and enter Gate 1. Bomber fans will sit in sections 6 through 10.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7 p.m. Thursday’s game can be heard on Classic Hits 101.7 and streaming live at ktlo.com. Coverage begins at 5:30 with Electric Cooperatives of Arkansas High School Gameday.
Two of Mountain Home’s junior high football teams will also be in action as they go to Batesville. The eighth grade game kicks off at 5:30 followed by the freshmen contest.
