The Bull Shoals-White River State Park has announced it will host two guided kayak/canoe float trips down the White River from 9:30 until 12:30 on September 2nd and September 3rd. The floats will depart from the park’’s trout dock and travel approximately two to three hours depending on river level downstream to the White Hole Access.

Along the way, participants will learn about the unique ecosystems the White River provides and get a chance to see some of the wildlife that make the White River their home.

Spots for the floats are limited and park officials urge those who wish to take part to register early by visiting the James A. Gaston Visitor Center or by calling 870-445-3629. The cost is $20 per person and $10 for children 12 and under, plus tax. The fee includes the shuttle and all gear.

Park officials would also like to note either of the trips may be cancelled and refunds made due to adverse weather and/or river conditions.
