LITTLE ROCK, Ark. (AP) _ A Little Rock man has been federally charged for more than a dozen homemade bombs authorities discovered buried in his yard.
The Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reports 47-year-old James Huff Jr. was charged Monday with possession of a firearm and possession of unregistered firearms. He’s been jailed since his May 7th arrest.
Authorities report seizing 14 pipe bombs from Huff’s home and two other bombs discovered the previous week at the home of his ex-girlfriend, Angella Poole. Authorities also seized a shotgun from Huff, who had been on probation for about six months after pleading guilty to drug charges.
Poole told law enforcement May 1st Huff was harassing her. She said her landlord found a stick of dynamite at her house that morning.
Huff will stand trial Sept. 24th.
