MHHS volleyball tops GCT

The Mountain Home High School volleyball team bounced back from their first loss with a 3-1 win at home Thursday night over conference foe Greene County Tech. The Lady Bombers dropped the first set 21-25 then bounced back to win the next three by scores of 25-17, 25-17 and 25-20.

Charlie Pierce had 18 kills, Anna Grace Foreman had 16 kills, Elaine Blackmon finished with 20 digs and five aces, Claudia Carter had seven kills and four blocks, Grace Beckham had 10 digs, Riley Strake picked up eight digs and Leah Jackson finished with 28 assists.

The Lady Bombers improve to 4-1 overall and 1-1 in teh 5A East Conference.

Mountain Home won the J.V match by scores of 25-20 and 25-19.

In the junior high match, the Junior Lady Bombers downed Greene County Tech 26-24 and 25-15. Georgia Burnham had 10 digs and three kills, Katelyn Hill had seven kills and eight digs and Bailey King finished with nine digs.
