For the second consecutive week, a high school football game in Arkansas had to be called early. According to Little Rock television station KLRT, a fight occurred between players for Hampton and Drew Central Friday on the campus of Drew Central High School in Monticello and ended with two adults getting arrested.
Monticello Live reports a turnover awarded to Drew Central during the second quarter prompted the fight. A Facebook post by the Hampton School District stated “poor sportsmanship from Drew Central” caused the game to be called early.
