Mountain Home firemen were called out early Tuesday morning to a house fire in the central part of the city. Fire chief Ken Williams says when firemen arrived at 239 Morris Street they found light smoke coming from the house.

The fire was in a bedroom of the home. Firemen were able to extinguish the blaze and keep it from spreading to the rest of the structure.

No injuries were reported.

Chief Williams says the cause of the fire is under investigation.
