Former MH volleyball player has big week

A former Mountain Home High School volleyball player has been honored for her play at Crowley’s Ridge College. Ashley Pyeatt has been named the Association of Independent Institutions’ Player of the Week.

Pyeatt recorded a season-high 13 kills in a match, while also serving 13 aces so far for the young season.

Pyeatt has tallied 93 kills across nine matches and posted a .228 hitting percentage.

Her 13-kill performance against Williams Baptist University helped the Pioneers pick up the program’s first-ever victory against the Eagles.

Crowley’s Ridge stands 5-4 on the season.
