
The Mountain Home High School and Junior High cross country teams did well Tuesday at the Melbourne Invitational.
The high school boys finished second out of nine teams. Whit Lawrence led the way with a 7th place finish, Bob Allen was 9th, Tyler Firment finished 14th, Shadd Darracq was 16th and Brandon Weaver finished 18th.
The Lady Bombers finished fifth out of 11 teams. Kalee Daniel led the way with a 3rd place finish, Shelbie Kelly was 15th and Victoria Strange was 16th.
The Junior Bombers won their second straight meet behind the first place finish of Andrew Westphal and second place finish of Ky Bickford. Jacob Lewis was 14th and Xander Towne was 16th.
The Junior Lady Bombers were fifth out of eight teams. Riley Patterson had a second place finish and Cayla McMaster was 22nd.
