Paul McCartney to mark “Egypt Station” release by streaming intimate concert Friday on YouTube

MJ Kim/©MPL Communications Ltd.All aboard to Egypt Station! Paul McCartney will celebrate the release of his latest studio album this Friday, September 7, by treating fans to a concert that will be streamed live for free at his official YouTube channel starting at 8 p.m. ET.

The intimate performance, which will take place in New York City, will feature renditions of songs from Egypt Station, as well as select McCartney classics from The Beatles and Wings catalogs and his solo career. The concert is being streamed as part of the website’s YouTube Originals series.

As previously reported, McCartney also will make a guest appearance this Thursday, September 6, on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, which airs at 11:35 p.m. ET/10:35 p.m. CT. Sir Paul will be interviewed on the program and will also be the musical guest.

McCartney kicks of his 2018 Freshen Up tour with a run of Canadian dates starting September 18 in Quebec City.
