The Mountain Home 9th grade football team lost Thursday night while the 8th and 7th grade team picked up victories.
The Junior Bombers fell at Green Forest 26-6. Xavier Anderson scored Mountain Home’s only touchdown. Gage Lindsey paced the offense with 56 rushing yards while Brody Patterson had 49 yards.
A split squad of the 8th grade team defeated Green Forest 22-6. Brady Barnett rushed for a touchdown and hooked up with William Bevel on a touchdown pass, Michael Davis had a 48-yard touchdown run and Ethan Bland added a two-point conversion.
The other Mountain Home 8th grade team defeated West Plains at home 28-0. Dillion Drewry had a big night with 153 rushing yards and three touchdowns and he passed for 40 yards and a touchdown pass to Tristan Hayes. Masen Walker had a two-point conversion.
The Mountain Home 7th grade team defeated West Plains 20-0. The scoring started when Landen White forced a fumble which Will Cottongin picked up and returned it 30 yards for a touchdown. White would later add a 50-yard touchdown run and Masen Walker had a 40-yard touchdown run.
