A 76-year-old man from Ava was killed in a single-vehicle accident Monday night in Douglas County. The Missouri Highway patrol says Ronald Uhing was killed in the crash.
The report indicated Uhing was not wearing a seat belt when his vehicle ran off the right side of the road, hit a fence and overturned.
The accident happened 15 miles west of Ava on Highway 76 at 8:50 Monday night.
