The Mountain Home High School golf teams went to the Jonesboro Country Club Saturday and came away with a victory in the Hurricane Classic.
The Lady Bombers topped the girls’ team leaderboard after finishing with a 253, and Cabot ended up second with a 285. Paragould’s Madison Holmes was the medalist with a 75. Mountain Home’s Sydney Czanstkowski and Kenzie Collins tied for second after both shot an 80.
The Bombers took seventh place on the boys’ side with a team total of 339. Cabot won the tournament at 294, and Jonesboro was second at 307. Ben Sherman represented the host Golden Hurricane as the medalist with a 68. Weston Hoover led Mountain Home with an 80, and Luke Jackson had an 84.
