The Twin Lakes Community Foundation is raising awareness of cardiovascular disease and the effects it can have on women. A “Heart Healthy Luncheon” is scheduled for October 3rd at noon at Big Creek Golf and Country Club.
At current rates, one in three women is expected to die from cardiovascular disease. Jean C. McSweeney, Ph.D., will be the presenter as she discusses disease prevention.
