Giving back to the community is a primary focus of Integrity First Bank’s Employee Relations Committee. Each month, the committee meets to discuss ideas about partnering their IFB team with the community through volunteer efforts.
For the new year, members of the committee organized a “Choose to Lose” weight loss challenge and fundraiser. Participants paid a fee to enter the quarterly challenge. Total funds collected were then split between the person who lost the highest percentage of their beginning weight and a local charity of their choice.
Pepper Morrison, Integrity First Bank Tech Support Specialist and winner of the third round of the challenge, presented a check to the Good Samaritan Society in the amount of $105.
Jennifer Batesel, Good Samaritan Director of Marketing and Development, stated the funds would be allocated to the Heinz-Willet Center for Well-Being on the campus of Good Samaritan Society in Mountain Home. The center provides state-of-the art therapy and wellness programs for residents, clients and the local community.
