An Ozark County teenager was injured in a one-vehicle crash Sunday evening. The Missouri State Highway Patrol says 16-year-old Devin Mittchell of Gainesville was taken to Baxter Regional Medical Center with moderate injuries following the crash.
The report indicates Mittchell’s vehicle crossed the centerline, he overcorrected, the car traveled off the roadway where it struck a rock bluff, then returned to the roadway where it overturned and came to rest on its top.
The accident occurred at 7:25 Sunday evening on U.S. Highway 160, one mile west of Gainesville.
