Top Flight Basketball Academy recently wrapped up its first round of sessions for youth in kindergarten through second grade, but registrations are now being accepted for third through sixth graders. Friday is the last day to sign up at regular price.

Top Flight’s mission is to promote, develop and improve the overall opportunity for local youth to be exposed to basketball skills. The commissioners are making it their goal teach dedication, sportsmanship, teamwork and a passion for the game.

Top Flight is currently in its seventh year. Matt Martin says he and his fellow commissioners have enjoyed watching the kids they’ve taught in the past through their growth not only in basketball, but also in life.

Top Flight has worked closely with the Mountain Home High School athletic department in an attempt to get kids ready for that next level. Lady Bombers’ head coach Dell Leonard says this is an important partnership for both the girls’ and boys’ basketball programs.
