
An early morning traffic accident in Ozark County led to the arrest of a Gainesville man on multiple counts. According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 29-year-old Darron Wren was transported Monday to the Ozark County jail on a 24-hour hold.
Wren was traveling on Missouri Highway 5 nearly 1 mile north of Gainesville when his vehicle left the roadway and overturned. Wren was not injured, but he was arrested just before 3:00 for felony possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia, driving while intoxicated (drugs), no valid operator license and no insurance.
