A one-vehicle accident in Marion County resulted in the death of a Newton County man. According to the Arkansas State Police, 23-year-old Jesse Robertson of Marble Falls was killed Oct. 9th, and a minor in the vehicle was transported to Baxter Regional Medical Center from the scene nearly 9 miles south of Yellville.
Robertson and his passenger were traveling southbound on Arkansas Highway 14 as their vehicle was negotiating a downhill curve to the left. The vehicle exited the roadway to the right, traveled down an embankment, struck multiple trees and overturned.
Weather conditions were clear, and the road was dry in the 3:26 p.m. accident.
