The arrest of a woman in Fulton County on 10 charges required three law enforcement officers and two patrol units.

According to the probable cause affidavit filed Thursday, 36-year-old Jennette Knasiak was arrested following a traffic stop initiated by Fulton County Sheriff Al Roork in early July. Knasiak’s address was not listed on court documents. After failing a field sobriety test, Knasiak was arrested for DWI and reportedly began yelling and cursing as she was being placed into restraints by a deputy.

As the deputy attempted to place Knasiak in a patrol unit, the suspect began struggling with the officer. While the officer was able to get Knasiak on the car seat, she leaned back and began kicking the deputy repeatedly, with blows hitting her arms, face and rib area.

A second deputy went to the other side of the patrol car and was able to pull Knasiak inside, allowing the vehicle’s door to be closed.

Sheriff Roork then advised he wanted to move Knasiak to a unit with a safety cage. Again, Knasiak refused to get in the second car, kicking the same officer in her ribs.

During transport to the Fulton County Detention Center, Knasiak removed her hand restraints. Upon arrival at the jail, Knasiak was tased to no avail, as she continued fighting with deputies and officers. A second deputy sustained several injuries to the facial and head areas.

During a search, several Xanax bars were found in containers not originally prescribed in.

Knasiak has been charged with two felony counts of battery of a law enforcement officer and possession of narcotics outside of container, along with misdemeanor counts of resisting arrest, disorderly conduct, DWI-drugs, careless and prohibited driving and driving on a suspended license. She was also cited for driving left of center and refusal to submit to a chemical test. Her bond was set at $10,000.
