It’s week nine of the high school football season in Arkansas, and for Mountain Home, Friday marks the last road trip of the year. The Bombers’ opponent this week will be Searcy.
Mountain Home comes into the game at 0-8 on the season and 0-5 in the 6A-East. The Bombers suffered a five-point loss to Sylvan Hills last Friday. Searcy is 6-2 and 3-2. The Lions are coming off a 24-point defeat at Jonesboro.
Mountain Home head coach Bryan Mattox says the challenge for the Bombers is stopping Searcy’s high-powered offense.
