2 dead, 2 wounded in south Arkansas shooting

EL DORADO, Ark. (AP)   Police in south Arkansas say two people were killed and two others were injured in an early morning shooting Sunday.

The shooting was reported at about 12:30 a.m. Sunday at a home in El Dorado. Police Capt. Kevin Holt tells the El Dorado News-Times that a man and woman were pronounced dead at the scene, and two others who were wounded were taken to hospitals.

Police have obtained an arrest warrant for 23-year-old Jacovis Dejon James on suspicion of two counts of capital murder, two counts of attempted capital murder, aggravated robbery and being a felon in possession of a firearm.

Authorities were still searching for James on Monday.
